WE'RE GOING ON A BEAR HUNT

WE'RE GOING ON A BEAR HUNT

Along the 2nd Term we have been learning the story of "We're going on a Bear Hunt" by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury.

It is a wonderful book that tells the story of a family who goes on a bear hunt. They travel through all different landforms and weather, only to have the bear scare them back home!

Following reading, we have been engaging P4 pupils in activities targetting:

1. Sequencing the story, which is also a great retelling tool:

SEQUENCING THE BOOK

2. Making a Snowstorm in a Jar (science experiment).

Pupils had so much fun generating a fizzy storm in a jar!

3. "We're going on a bear hunt" Cover. With it, we have been learning the family members.
